Hi guys a quick question. Do i need to have an original Divorce Decree to send with N 400?

You need a photocopy of the divorce decree.

If yes , How can i get a certified copy from other state because i moved after divorce? help appreciated.

If you do not have an original decree on you, you need to get it from the courthouse in where your divorce was.

I have the same situation. Will apply for citizenship based on 5-year residency.

Divorced and single now. Do I need to submit my previous marriage certificate and divorce decree with form N 400?

Thanks.

They want all that stuff for the three year marriage, proof that the spouse is a US citizen and all the divorce papers for both spouses plus yet another copy of your marriage certificate.

Can only ask, but don't dare to, how to they figure the applicant got that green card in the first place. During that stage, really scrutinized all of that documentation and even at the same exact field office.

Don't have to do none of this stuff for the five year, not even tax transcripts. Congress considers if an applicant is married to a US citizen, will be a better citizen so knocked off a couple of years. But the USCIS has to carry this marriage and divorce thing to the nth degree as proof that you are indeed married to the same person.
