I know that this is possible and it happens every once in a while, but I'm just wondering.

Has anyone gotten their green card without the interview and by mail recently?

For AOS from K-1 it does happens. You would still have biometrics first. (We didn't have an interview and there are many others on here- I don't think there is a rhyme or reason for who does and does not get an interview).

Just relax....

I am relaxed, the only problem is, our office would be in Fresno, eight hours away, so going down there would be a hassle anyways, does anyone know if I can request a different office?even Vegas or somewhere in Nevada would be closer

Yes, it happens often. Probably half of all K-1 AOS cases if not more often.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

According to your timeline you haven't filed yet. Are you sure your local office will be Fresno? Because I have heard of people having their local office in other states if it was closer. Once you file your biometrics letter will be the first indication of where your local office will be and if it's in Fresno then you know whether you should request a change.

Well we live in California, but we go to Nevada, Carson city and sometimes even Reno for basic stuff like groceries.so based on where we live, it should be Fresno, but I would prefer somewhere in Nevada
