I've been trying to look up this information and was wondering if anyone here can help me out?

Once we file an I-184 for beneficiary, (in my case, my fiance), do we have to report them on our federal tax returns as dependents?

My father will be the joint sponsor so will he have to include my fiance as a dependent on his federal tax return papers this year and for all the following years??

(until my fiance doesn't become a US citizen)

There is no relationship between the I864 and filing taxes.

After marriage, you would file taxes with her as your dependent. There is no possible way to be listed as a dependent on (2) different returns.

i don't get it.

You, nor your father, can claim your Fiance on your tax returns. A Fiance is not a dependent and there is no legal relationship between you, or your father, and your fiance.

After you're married, YOU will both file together, typically as "Married Filing Jointly", or maybe "Married Filing Separately". But you both have to file as husband and wife under one of those statuses.

Your father will never be able to claim her on his taxes.

PS: A "Wife" is not a dependent. She will have an exemption on your taxes, same as you will, but wives are not dependents.
