Retesting after 2 month culture at st. Lukes?

We are waiting for my wife's 2 month culture, her skin test was negative and she has never had TB, her son passed the medical.

I read a post where, after a negative 2 month culture for the wife, both the K-1 and K-2 applicants had there blood retested. Is this standard practice? I just want to make plans for both to go to Manila, if so.

** Ramona went through more testing including xrays. The doctor said he couldn't find any evidence of Tb and cleared her for everything.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

If after 2 months, and the culture result is negative. They will give her shots and no more retest. I believe that retest is when person undergo treatment for months.

After the culture is negative, shots will be given and the medical will be good for 6 months. The son's medicals 6 months starts when he passed his medical so your wife and son only have 4 actual months to leave together before his medical expires.
