1. Clinton should have done something about this. Looks like most of the snow melted 1993-2000. Clinton was President and did nothing.

2. Obama is still doing nothing

3. Too late, the snow is gone. Why should we tax ourselves now and what bad happened now that the snow is gone?

Well first, I've never, ever advocated any tax dollars be put towards this, so once again, I'm not sure why you keep asking me that question.

Second, although I try to avoid commenting on the political aspect of global warming, I will point out that Clinton did sign off on the Kyoto protocol, which was the first international attempt to do something about GW.

Then speaking of doing absolutely fricken nothing, why don't you ever mention your buddy George, the guy that actually pulled out of the Kyoto protocol, even when his own administration's EPA had already concluded that most of the climate change that had occurred over several decades were due to human activity? Why do you claim not to be partisan but yet find a way to blame everything on the democrats.

And why do you post scenic pictures from a conservative Canadian political blog and then accuse people who actually post satelite images of photoshopping? Quite weak even by your standards Gary.

Because the photos you and the GW sheep have shown are all during their administrations. 1993-2000 and 2009. The photo shown during Bush's administration has lots of snow.

Just kidding. Put thank you for illustrating my point.

Obviously I do so to show that the President in charge at the moment can make no difference. Because we did not cause this, we cannot prevent it. We did not cause the powerful and numerous hurricanes of 2004-2005 and we cannot prevent them. They will come and go, as they always have for millenia. Relying on politicians in Washington to solve a global problem when they cannot produce a budget for more than three years is stupid.

If the snow has melted, and it appears it has, yet there is no huge change in our lives...what then are we trying to do? Put the snow back? Why?
