Chess XRay and XRay report for AOS from K1

Hi,

I am really frustrated with the I-693/Civil Surgeon process. I took my wife and kids to a civil surgeon this weekend and was told that they needed to have physical's done and my wife needed a blood test.

Then they spent a good 30 mins looking on the CD's to see if there was an X-ray report issued with their chess X-Rays. There is no report on the CD.

Now, from what I have read here is that a 2nd physcal is not required if you fill the I-485 within a year of the over seas medical and there are on Class A issues.

So my question is, is all of this necessary?

My daughters had positive skin test for TB. The youngest was fund to have LTBI and is under going treatment with our local health department. Does this factor in for an I-693?

I took the instructions for K1/K2 visa's and read it to the civil surgeon but still insist that this (x-ray report) is necessary.

Help!!!!! Need advice to get this moving.

Most Filipino's get the BCG vaccine and as a result they will test positive to a TB skin test. You can tell if she has had the vaccine because there will be a scar on her shoulder somewhere that looks something like the smallpox vaccine that older Americans have received.

My wife had all the above (BCG and TBST). The Civil Surgeon we chose did a TB Skin Test and it was clear.

If I was going to do it over I would use a Civil Surgeon that I found that was readily available and was very aware of the K1 process. The closest one I found to the DFW area was 200 Miles away in Ausitn.

The Civil Surgeon I chose was nearest my house, not the way I would make the choice in the future.
