Hi Everyone,

So i'm very happy i'm leaving next monday to finally be with my fiancee

just a little worry now: she's going to move home, i mean she'll stay in the same city but get another renting, in a different street.

Here are my questions:

- when i'll go through the customs, what adress should i put on the paper, the actual one (the same as the one in the visa papers) or the new one??

- What should i do to make them change the adress for the end of the process, what papers should i fill??

Hope it won't be a problem to move before we get married (hopefully next month  )

Thanks a lot for your help guys ;)

Thank you Caroline, very helpfull  (i should have check the uscis website first  ).

But what about the address on the form (i think it's I 94) when i'll go through customs??

i'm thinking to write the actual address and after a couple of weeks make the change of address at the uscis, would it be a good solution??

Just put the address on the I-94, that will show your residential address right after your arrival.

Any other change of address can be made,

- using the AR-11 after you filed for AOS

- or file the AOS with the new address, if you file after you moved.

The address change will not affect much in custom.

You should, however, change your address before you change your status.

Just my 2 cents worth.
