Congratulations NoneYa!!! I agree will scuffydog. Turn your house upside down, computer, facebook, wallet, pictures, letters, clothing etc.. Anything that remotely connects to an ex-GF(s) or wife(s) or any girl. Get rid of it. Burn it all!!

Same experience here. Still explaining old gf's and female friends to my wife. Even when you thought you got rid of everything check again. This will save you the headache , explanations and agruments but no matter how much explaining and truth you tell her. There will always be suspension.

But the best thing is, you have your fiance coming to be with you.. :dance:

Take it from someone who had lots of photographic memories from my days living in the Philippines while I was in the military. If you have photos that are an important time in your life, but you are marrying, then pack them up and seal the box and move it to the attic of your parents or other relative because as much as we all want our marriages to work out, there is a distinct possibility that it might fail in the future.

I TOTALLY agree that she doesn't need to see them, or know about them, etc. But having them tucked away preserves the memories if things don't work out AND IF those things are important to you later on in your life. If several years down the road you decide they are a part of your life not worth remembering then go ahead and ditch them. Just do it because it's what YOU want, and not because you're afraid of an argument, etc.

My ex tossed out many photos of my younger military days living in the Philippines, yet we ended up divorced within a few years, and those photos are gone forever. They were my memories, not hers, I didn't toss out anything she had in her closet or jewelry box back home. She is long gone, and couldn't care less about the photos she tossed out, but I still miss having the connection to my past that those photos represented even 25 yrs later. [This is just my opinion, so take it or leave it ]

I thought about this and I am confident that the woman I am with now is the most lovely sweet supportive woman than I have ever met. Anyone before her does not matter to me anymore because I had

at least two long relationships where I was not treated well. This is a no brainer. I am ditching any of these photos (my decision) before she arrives. I will never look back. I have enough individual photos of me from past. We will never separate. I am pretty confident about that but in the event we do, I'm done. This will be my second and last marriage. I will give this everything I have heart, soul and pictures !

Just a different guy.. different choices. I valued every response ! Thank you all for your best wishes !

I am like you, but it was the ones I forgot that I hidden in a drawer on a thumb drive that got me. It's a long story but I had to buy a new bedroom suite. Something along the lines of I will never sleep in that bed again. I am with you Non YA I am married to the sweetest woman in the world and would never do anything to hurt her but I had fun when I was single. Just advice to all sanitize the place.

And I've spent a lot of hours going through photos trying to pick out all the ex-wife photos too, and tossing them. I'm still not done yet... I got all the digital ones pruned, but not the old film ones. Why oh why did I have to take an interest in photography and take over 10,000 film photos??
