I-129F form about to expire

Just noting that the I-129F form is about to expire (02/29/2012) ... does this mean that if the petition/form may not reach USCIS by the expiry date at the end of this month, that it is better to wait until an updated version is released and send the new one? Or is there some allowance for a delay between the two versions?

i look at it as.. when my form is at the TEXAS lockbox (2/29)..

if i was to be sending it in the next couple of weeks.. i may just wait for the new one.. just to be safe..

but i don't work for the USCIS.. but i did sleep at a holiday inn express

Look at the USCIS webpage, if it says "previous edition accepted" then it's good. But recommended to have updated versions in your petition IMO when it's possible.

If those are the only forms available at the time you are applying they are acceptable, you don't need to sit and wait for new forms to show up.

Hey thanks for the replies... btw I did do a search on this and opinions are conflicting on those...

Oh well.. guess we send it with the current form available and hope that as some prior posts have said that you just go with the current form and that if a new one comes up the previous one is also acceptable regardless of timeframe.
