Is there anyway to find out before I send in my application for Citizenship where I will have to go to be interviewed and take the oath? I am to mail my package to Texas.

Thanks

The oath ceremony varies depending on where you live. Some offices offer same day oath ceremonies. Other places you will need to wait for a letter stating the date, time and location. I know from what other people have said that my office doesn't offer same day oaths and that I will be sent a letter for an oath ceremony at a later date. It will most likely be in the L.A. convention center.

But the interview should be at your local field office as kstrozyk already stated.

I just went through the the Jax office for naturalization. If you end up going through them you will go through biometrics and interview pretty quickly and then you need to wait for at least 45 days to receive your oath ceremony scheduling letter. The adjudicator mentioned that they sometimes accommodate people by scheduling the ceremony in a town other then JAX, like Gainseville or Tallahassee if that is closer but this highly depends on the number of applicants.

Hope this helps

Naturalized! Yeah!
