I did not have very much time near the computer today, so sorry, to hear about this. But it looks like it ended up okay. My thoughts are with you tonight, hoping that you and Lauent will continue to support each other through this very hard journey. It does feel great when you have, supportive and a understanding people around you and a caring and wonderful man. Wishing for a VERY fast approval for you and Lauent.

Thanks, Rhonda. :) You and everyone else have been so gracious in the face of my snafu and have really helped me so much to re-attain my equilibrium today. :yes:

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Thanks, my friend!! I so appreciate your support. I'm doing much better now. But you should have seen me this morning. I was a nervous wreck when I realized my error...UGH!! Hope your journey is going successfully for the moment!! :) PM me sometime and let me know!! :thumbs:

30 March 2009 NOA received

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

5/31/2006 --- Mailed I-129F (K1) to NSC

6/02/2006 --- Received by NSC (NOA1)

6/14/2006 --- Check Cashed

6/19/2006 --- Received NOA1 by mail from CSC

9/20/2006 --- Recieved RFE Notification Via EMAIL

9/25/2006 --- Recieved RFE in Mail

9/25/2006 --- Returmed RFE via USPS

9/28/2006 --- RFE Recieved at DHS

10/02/2006 -- RFE Status Updated

10/16/2006 -- APPROVED..!!

November 5th-Recieved RFE

November 22nd-Sent evidence

November 27th-Touched-Case resumed

November 30th-Touched

December 17th-Transferred to CSC

January 7th 2008-EAD card ordered

January 16th-EAD card in my hot little hand!

January 22nd-Green card ordered!!!!!

January 28th-Green card in my hand!
