Is there anyone of you who actually filed for K1 and while in the process had to fle for bankruptcy? Did it have any effect on the visa approval?

I asked similar question last month. I was told by others on the forum that they do not check credit as I have been off work 23 months and have poor credit. You just have to show you can afford to support and meet the criteria earning the 125% Poverty Level USCIS website states.

Good luck

Bankruptcy has no effect and will not even be asked about at any point.
