AP is difficult. It can sometimes take a long time and often you never know what is going on.Just remember that when you are together for 50 years it will 18,250 days together. So now only 62 days apart does not seem like a lot. Is it possible for the two of you to meet in another country for a small vacation? Good luck.

This is I hear and see from some one in Visa Journey from egypt I think can we have the email like that for our case in Embassy ?

Pending Cases

Check the Status of your Administrative Processing

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a Consular Officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement at the conclusion of the interview. Most administrative processing is resolved within five months of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. The administrative processing occurs in Washington, DC and cannot be expedited or waived. Visa applicants are reminded not to make any non-refundable travel plans until they receive their visas.

Please note: we will not contact you when your administrative processing is complete. All Immigrant Visa applicants must check their own cases by entering your case number in the box here and click “Submit”.

If your administrative processing is still pending six months after your interview, please contact our office by email at: consularcairoiv@state.gov. Please include your case number and note “Administrative Processing” in the subject line.

i know how everyone is going through these difficult times everyone who is stuck in AP i pray for all to get outta AP soon and be with their loved ones for that they have been endeavoring hard to be don't consider Egypt AP timeline since you are from pakistan you have to deem what embassy of Islamabad tells you since their email address is no longer working now you have to go to their website Submit inquiries and email them via Web-email they can likely get back to you you never know and AP Varies from country to country so when you went for interview did you have any missing documents u had to send to embassy after interview or u just got AP so when you call DOS what do they say its pending or under review cos in my case i submitted my documents which embassy required they received a Month before so they are saying i'm under review

unfortunately its very common for AP to last for months in pakistan... but don't worry so much... believe me, I know how hard it is.. my emotions run from frustrated to angry to hurt on a daily basis... We've been married for almost a year and half and we knew it would take a while but i think we werent prepared for the AP to last longer than 6 months... the only thing i want in life right now is to be with my husband and start our family...

I just have to keep my faith that ALLAH will see our marriage good and strong and respectful and won't keep us separated.. he will ensure we will be together.. we have a solid marriage and good communication and we never ever ever go one hour without some form of communication whether its an email a text a phone call and we spend every minute we can after work online. We laugh, we cry, we talk about struggles, we talk about casual things, we talk about our dreams and our hopes and we talk about reality.. we try to keep our life as normal as possible even if it is at a distance.. LOL he even laughs at me when i try new recipes and he watches me cook ;) I tell him.. look out... gori in the kitchen ;) but we find a way to laugh! we find a way to make our life good even tho i can't share his cup of tea...

You will too.. find something that works for now and make that be what your normal is until that visa is issued... then.. make your life together!!! INSHALLAH this will end!

I have not seen him over a year now. We have a son and he have not seen him yet. This AP is killing me. I cry every single day. I work and study because i have no one to help me. I cannot even go to see him. I am so sad. I lost my dad it just me and my mother. We living like a hell. I feel for those who waiting for their love once.

They don't provide information regarding AP. I hate this but we cannot do anything about that. The only thing we can do is wait and suffer every day. I am living a life of single mother and its hard very hard infact i never thought a life like this.Allah make us strong and hopefully this will end soon

Sandybell, I am sorry you are going through AP. I am also sorry for the loss of your father. It must be very hard taking care of the baby and trying to work and go to school without your husband. I pray that your AP is over soon and your husband comes home to you.
