Hi -I have just received my letter to schedule my medical and interview at the London embassy - the whole process has gone very smoothly with no questions being asked at all - pays to be well prepared :yes: what i am not sure of is do i send both the copies of the 1-156 with photo's attached to the embassy initially or just one ? also i guess i just take the second part of the DS-230 (page 3 and 4) with me when i get my interview? will i need yet more photo's again ? they are getting pricey - living in the countryside ive been paying £20 for 2 !!lol would appreciate any advice please as i was hoping to send off in the morning - many thanks

Don't send anything but the forms to London--no passport photos, no documents. You can throw away Part II (p.3-4). K1s don't do that. Only spouses visas. Here's a thread that might be of help to you. Also contains info about photo places or taking your own.

You will need 1 photo for your medical and 2 when you go for your interview at the embassy. The photo for the medical can be a uk sized passport photo which you can get at a photo booth (normally costs around £6 for 4). The photo's for the interview must be US passport sized photo's.
