I sent them the 2009 and 2010 tax transcripts. We still haven't filed for the 2011. Somehow we owe $1500 in taxes. Blegh. So I am not going to file till April 15. If we get a RFE, then I'll send those returns in.

Damn! I had a dependent this year so I guess that's what we have to look forward to next year :( I gotta get a house and kid quick!!

Still have not sent it out yet. Luckily, we came across another thing recently to add as proof of marital relationship; one Sam's Club membership card in his name and a complimentary shared household card in my name. Both come with some weird black and white pics they took of us on the spot. We had been procrastinating getting membership there for awhile and just got around to doing it. So more to add to the packet!

When people say their 'checks are cashed' is that from tracking your personal checks I imagine? Doesn't matter if you send a personal check or a cashier's check, what are most people sending?

I sent a personal check. Just monitored my online banking activity and could see when the check was deposited and when it cleared.

I sent my package on 03/08 , and they received it on 03/09 (GC expires 06/08). I got the package back due to early submission. I mis-calculated the date. However, to return the package for one day is utterly inconsiderate. I got the package on 03/14 (lost 4 bus. Days) and sent it again same day.
