I just received an email from USCIS:

"On November 27, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you....and so on". :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

I am so happy!!!I dreaded the idea of an RFE or interview, as we had travel plans to Europe in January!

i want to add my timeline for Vermont Service Center. we sent our I-751 for both my wife and daughter on march 9, 2012. received NOA dated march 17. we just received the notification for both I-751 (wife & daughter) of approval and card production on the 11-28-12.

Interesting enough, my approval letter arrived in the mail one day after I received the email approval. The approval date on the letter was 11/23/12. This morning I received another email saying "On November 29, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. ". So I guess the GC is around the corner.

Received approval email on 30th Nov...Card will be arrived in few days....yayy...wait is over....

Congrats to all those who have been approved!!! And for those waiting, you time of day is coming quickly.

By the way a friend called USCIS customer service and was told that because of the heavy work load on VSC, some of the files were transferred to CSC for adjudication. That is why the we are seeing a fast processing times now.
