Is that your personal experience? As far as I know, there is no status change on RFE at ROC stage so...

Well, when I did my AOS and I had an RFE, my status was changed. But This was for I485. :star:

Hello every body !

going to share my experience USCIS received my I-751 on March 30th, had biometric 05-14-2012, I didn't hear anything since that day at all, been so worried I dislike REF and interviews I had two interviews to get conditional GC so I know how hard and complicated process, I was expecting REF because I forgot to submit any Tax return documents but guess what I got approved email this morning :yes: it's the best Christmas gift ever. These guys are charging $15 for a criminal records. Not sure if you have to apply in person.

There will be similar agency in the county you've lived.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't want to reply until I had something in the works. Last week I managed to get a police clearance document in both my married name and maiden name from the Sheriff's office of the county we live in now in FL and also spoke to the clerk of records in Morganton, NC after being redirected from their country Sheriff's office. Had to pay $25 bucks in a money order to the folks in NC to have them issue a certified criminal record check in both my names and I should be getting it in the mail soon, hopefully. The experience locally in getting police clearance was surprisingly hassle free, it took all of five minutes. All I had to do was bring identification and give them my names to check. I got my affidavit saying I am crime free notarized with Bank of America. Overall a good experience. Just waiting to hear back from NC and then the RFE is back to Vermont. Just glad I didn't have to go there in person to get my clearance.

friends - I started to get very upset about my case. I filed my case early March, until today - no mail, email or text message notification at all. I called their National Services last week and they only told me they are approving January cases (as indicated on their website) and that I need to continue to wait. Is this the right time that I should make an Infopass appointment? I was just wondering even if I went for an Infopass, would I be told the same thing, or they can actually look into my case in their computer system for my case status? there's a possibility that the mail got missing as well.....

When I called to ask about mine, the guy told me that you have to look it up based on the case number on your biometrics letter (not NOA1) it sounded really strange to me, but we had misplaced (now found while looking for our W-2s) it so I wasn't able to confirm.

Update on our case: We have been transferred to our local office who will schedule an interview. I am alternating between confident and worried. Confident because we actually are indeed a married couple. Worried because we had an interview for the first GC, and Nik flubbed some questions ("I'm not good with dates") the first time around. I guess we will have to have a study session on important dates. Looks like almost everyone is being approved without interviews, so now I'm on the worried side. Also, I sort of thought that if they interviewed you for the first card you usually didn't get called in for the removal. Ergh.

Sorry I haven't been around cheering everyone on. Just not as interested in VJ when I'm not channeling my "I miss my guy because he's so far away, how do I get him here sooner" into forums addiction.
