friends - I started to get very upset about my case. I filed my case early March, until today - no mail, email or text message notification at all. I called their National Services last week and they only told me they are approving January cases (as indicated on their website) and that I need to continue to wait. Is this the right time that I should make an Infopass appointment? I was just wondering even if I went for an Infopass, would I be told the same thing, or they can actually look into my case in their computer system for my case status? there's a possibility that the mail got missing as well.....

Yes, it is true according to the website they are in the January files. As someone posted before (and glad they did), some of the VSC files were transfered to CSC. However, I am sure there were ones that were not transferred. I wouldn't worry as of now. What can we do except for checking our status online every 15 minutes haha, although there is an app for that. We will get through this process... eventually.

Not really. According to USCIS processing times posted on December 5, I-751 at VSC are March 5, 2012.

Yeah it's true. they've updated their status online. the processing time is 8 months now and the priority date is March 5, 2012.

If you go for an infopass or if you call and speak to a Tier 2 officer - they should be able to see what is going on with your case. So, if your case was filed before March 5th, you can go ahead and call ( but please ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer, otherwise there is no use calling) or schedule the infopass appointment. I know it is difficult, but hang in there, you will hear good news soon.

Approved on 12/7!!!

Called USCIS customer service this morning, and was told

"your case is still pending, wait for another 1 week to ask "Service Request"

Then got an approval e-mail tonight.
