I know rite! I was shocked, but it was the only stinking ACCO type folder they had, oh well it works great

I used a regular folder and a sticky ACCO fastener. It worked just fine!

I received my noticed of action today , it tells me they received the check on 3/6/12 and it extends my GC for one year!! =) I hope I get my Bio metrics appointment before we travel to Philadelphia on April 16 :o

That NOA1 was super fast! That's exciting!

We're gonna be March filers too! Our window opens March 24th, so we'll file around then. I'm on Spring break this week from work so I'm beginning to assemble the package now.

Just a note to others: I got a PM from another Brazilian who told me it was imperative that we send in tax transcripts and not simple copies. She said that many people are RFE'ed for only sending in the simple copies. I called the IRS and got our tax transcripts. I called them last Monday and they arrived on Friday. The lady on the phone said it would be 5-10 calendar days. I called this number: (800)908-9946

Kind of a silly question, but you know how we're supposed to type in N/A or None in the fields that aren't applicable. Do we do that even for the address part? Where it says "appt #" for example?

Fedex will not ship to P.O. boxes. I sent UPS priority mail. Mailed it Monday, they received it on Wednesday and NOA1 was issued on Thursday. Cost me less than $15.

I ordered my tax transcripts online. Two sets. Arrived in 5 business days.

We sent our packet today by USPS Priority Mail. It is supposed to be delivered on Thursday!

We also ordered our tax transcripts on the IRS web site. We could only order our transcripts for 2010, so we sent just the tax returns for 2011.

We didn't fill out ALL of the fields. We used the example form on Visa Journey as a guide.
