Hi,

My brother's family is already have paperwork submitted a year ago to be sponsored to US by me.

Now, will my parents be able to submit their US citizen status to sponsor them?

Will their US citizen status help their case to proceed faster?

Keep in my that my brother and his wife is already have the case submitted to USCIS, still waiting till now.

Thanks

they could file for him because US Citizens can file for married children. the petitions are separate and it would have nothing to do with your petition, it doesn;t make your petiion go faster.

married children of a USC take 10 years or more,

Wow, so if my parents want to sponsor for my brother and his family, basically, my parents would have to fill the paper again since the beginning?

Somehow, i thought it would be like 5-6 years only?

Thanks

yes, the same way as you have, filing the i130 form,

7 years for unmarried children over 21 is more than 7 years, they are working on cases sent in 2005,

for married children, they are working on cases sent in 2002.

here is the link for March's visa bulletin.

your petition's category is F4, your parent's is F3
