Hello VJerz it's me again , i would like to ask regarding the income tax return. Is it necessary to have the income tax return for 2011 during the interview? Like if my interview will be on March do i really need to bring a copy of his recent income tax return which is 2011? Or 2009 and 2010 is also acceptable? I'm really confused about this because me and my fiance discuss it , he told me he will not going to send the other forms unless he get the 2011 to make sure that it will be granted by the consul or if ever he already have that 2011 he will just send one income tax return only the 2011 ..

I don't know how long does it takes before he will received the 2001 income tax return , might be middle of February or more than that..

You wil ned his tax paperwork unless he did not file. I think the cutoff for filing 2011 taxes is April 17, 2012. If he filed electronically with the IRS, he should be able to print ou his tax form, scan it and send it to you. Even if he does not file before your interview. Hw already has his W2 form to show his earning for 2011 and I would ask hin to provide at least 6 of his most current paycheck stubs leading up to the interview. He can also get a letter from his bank and his employer to verify his emplyment, wages and standing with the company he works for. Congratz on how quickly you got your NOA2. I am stuck with my petition at the CSC which seems to be taking longer. I filed mine and received NOA1 on December 6, 2011. Take care.

He don't need to have the pay stubs since he is a retired but he can have the letter from his employer about his employment. He already have the W2 forms , we are just really stock about the income tax return. It is really necessary to be 2011? Also he can have his income tax return 2011 after he filed it electronically with the IRS? Or it will take couple of days to be delivered at home? Yes we got approved 97 days since NOA1 we're using Vermont but haven't received any notice yet from the NVC :hehe:

Is it okey to fill up the form using a ballpen? Also is there part of the form I-134 that i need to fill up? Or should be filled up by the beneficiary? My petitioner fill up the form not computerize , he used the ballpen lol dunno if that's acceptable. I told him to make a draft to avoid errors but he didn't listen :rofl: Now i'm afraid that there might be errors on the form specially now that he will just be using a ballpen  I hope that there will be no errors.

He will send me the document on monday using feedex , how long does it takes for me to received the doc on hand? I'm living in province. Thanks!

The I-134 is to be completed (and signed) by the petitioner, using a ballpoint pen is just fine, they don't require forms to be typed.

Hard to say how fast with FedEx to a province, my fiancee lives outside of Manila so FEDEX is fairly quick to deliver... 3-5 days.

I contacted the NVC twice on email asking for our MNL# but haven't received any response yet  Should i make a call or what? Been 11 days since it was sent from the day of approval.

Not yet, waiting until this coming Friday to contact NVC, Amy will be back from Malaysia on that Sunday so it would be cool to have it then.

Here is some info I collected:

For the NVC:

K1's are not tracked through the AVR, EVER. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

Tell him not to send anything of value in the Fed ex package. If he sends only papers and values it at $ 1.00, there is little chance of it getting held. I sent a present through

Fed Ex of a pair of shoes in the package. Even though it got there in 3 or 4 days, they held it in customs for another week or more and then taxed me another $ 65 on shoes that were valued at $ 85.00. Crooks !

I checked the Instructions for both I-129F and I-134

If you look under the instructions on the right side. Under "General Instructions"

What do you think is the best time for me to call the NVC? Do they work monday to friday? Philippine time.

He will not send anything except all the documents. Only photocopies and original copy of form I-134. How does it cost in FedEx? Do you have any idea? I heard it cost around $60 just for the document?

Very well said thanks for the info but i still ask him to send me a draft copy so that i can check if there is error with in the form and can correct them . Thanks for the info

I liked calling the NVC about 6 PM. That way if your Visa was processed that day, it will be in the system. The other poster is right. You need to talk to a live person for a K-1 Visa. I forget the exact hours but it seems like that are open to about Midnight EST. It's been a few months so I may be off on that.

If they have your MNL number it means your in the System in Manila and can make an appointment after you pay your fee. If your at 11 days you are right in the Zone, when it could be any day now. Keep calling every day.
