Hey I read on that link that I need ALL the paperwork I'ma take to my consular interview, for the ASC Appointment too. Is that true or what do I need for my ASC appointment?? And I made the MRV payment online, is a confirmation number sufficient?

You need the confirmation page printed out from paying and setting up the appointment, the DS-260, your passport and I would take the invitation letter too. Though you need to get yours sorted out if you got the wrong letter by mistake. I believe you can still get your invitation letter from the consulate information window. You can show them your confirmation page and tell them you need the invitation letter, if you don't get the correct one before interview time after calling them to sort it out.

You do not need to bring your other forms, like the DS-156, your financial evidence and evidence of relationship to the ASC appointment. You will only need those for the interview.
