There are forum moderators for a reason. It is their job to keep track of the postings and move them to the appropriate place. They have to deal with making sure the forum rules are followed and that no one is being offended by anyone's posts, etc. Letting someone know they posted in the wrong section or to not double post the same question is not being mean.

The OP does need to follow the posting rules and not do 'what they like', and so do you. If you don't like the rules and the way the forum is moderated, then no one is making you post here.
