Is it possible to get through this I-751 process without submitting a joint tax return?

Just submitting anything else on the list?

well first question, why don't you have joint tax returns? I suspect USCIS will ask this same question

Joint returns are a main thing they look for, but there are a few people on VJ who have said they didn't send any, then got RFEd / asked at interview for it or more proof of co-mingling lives and financials.

you have to send in your tax return to uscis. it has to show marry and you should file jointly. i don't care what anyone said's,if you don't send in any tax papers for the last two years, most likely you won't get approved. matter of fact, they will tell you at the interview that you are not approve. didn't you file and if not, why?

If you don't submit tax returns, and even if you are approved, they will be required if your case is scheduled for interview. Perhaps without returns, they may just flag your application for interview.

Sure you can BUT also expect RFE down the road for tax returns. Why wouldn't you send your tax returns?

We might file from outside US. Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it will be absolutely necessary to file returns within the US.
