Hi! I'm new to this forum and i did a lot of research and i ended up in here, wondering and hoping that some one could help me with my unusual case. I start this sponsoring process in May 2011. Everything going good and smooth, I didn't realized this until after i talked an agent been helping my with my case (in U.S and in VN), they told me to email the embassy to follow up on the case (2/2/2012,) they responds me telling me that my fiance had missed the interview date (12/23/2011). My fiance never rec'd any letter for that interview. They told us to send in a request for a new interview date. So my question is that has anyone seen or had this same problem and when can i expect the next interview date?

Thank you for taking the time reading this and hoping someone could HELP US!

Thanks! we still waiting for the second interview, hopefully it went through.

As for the fraud, i thought about that too but can't really pointing fingers right now. I been bugging and calling both the agent in US (where i live) and in VN. They advice us to keep emailing the embassy for the status.

We email the first email to the embassy asking about that interview date and that's how we found out that we missed the interview.

We were informed through an email, as far as I'm concerned the postal service in Vietnam"SUCKS". My fiancee was lucky if she received 50% the letters and packages I sent her.

i always known about their postal services...but i never got the letter at all. The agent just told us to wait the most up to 2 months...i have to email the embassy myself just to check up on the status. Have anyone seen this scenario before? is there a chance that i might get a new interview date?

Call DoS and ask what the case status is...
