If the employer is cap-exempt, what limits are there regarding dates?

- Is there a limit on when I can start? I can't find anything, but my boyfriend says it's Oct 1st. However, I think that's only because Visas start being given in Oct, so not true for cap-exempt employers that can file Visas any time of the year.

- Is there a limit on how long I have to be employed for? (min or max)

Thanks!

The Lawyer handling the case would be the obvious person to ask.

1st October is for non cap exempt.

3 years.

Thanks for your reply!

The lawyer hasn't started working on the case yet (and probably won't for another month or so), so I'm doing as much research of my own as I can in the meantime. Patience was never one of my strong suits :)

I know that 3 years is the maximum duration (without renewal). Is there a minimum one?
