I liked it, I wish he would have started sooner than 15 to teach her some tough lessons; but as the saying goes, "better late, than never."

Agree.

Attention-seeking idiot.

Nonsense, she was/is out of control and needed discipline. The spirit of entitlement has run wild, have you ever had your knuckles wrapped or been strapped? Cry me a river!

Shooting it with a gun seems a little cold to me. I beat my kids computer to death with a 2x4 and left it in the driveway for him to find when he got home.

Old Skool, me likey!

I'm not defending her. She's obviously got some serious issues, and how she got to be that way is another question entirely. But the video was clearly made for an audience, not the daughter.

I've seen this video all over Facebook and can't believe how many people are buying it.

Dad: "I'm angry! I'm going to destroy this perfectly good laptop!" Pow!

How about having your daughter donate it to a school, Dad? Oh yeah...no one would have paid any attention!

Thank you for clarifying your point. Now what you posted makes sense. It sounded like you were condoning the daughter's actions.

I agree that destroying the laptop wasn't the most thoughtful idea. The daughter does deserve to have her laptop taken away...but I like one of the above suggestions of donating it. Sell it even. At least make use of it.

I understand how frustrated the dad must be though. To write things like that about your parents is embarrassing, and just rude.
