Can someone inform me on what is Packet 3 & 4 that you have to pick up from the embassey??? What does this packet includes??

Packet 3 contains Checklist of things to gather (passport, birth cert, I-134, photos, divorce decrees, etc.).

Packet 4 is your interview appointment letter with the interview date. In Ghana these are given

on the same day on Wednesdays once you have your letter from the embassy to pick up your appointment letter.

Ok thanks. We received our letter from NVC in our email. but I don't know about the ds156 forms. I will check this out.

That is the K-1 packet, your will be a little different being a CR-1

If ur petition is IR/CR1, u will not be going to the embassy to pick up any packet. NVC will email everything to u, the petitioner, and the beneficiary, if they have ur e-mail addresses on file. That was what they did with my petition. About 10 days after my case was closed at NVC, both my wife and I received an email from NVC with an attachment. That attachment was 4 pages long: interview letter, reminders of things my wife needs to have ready before the interview, etc. The interview letter gives u the next step to take (login on www.immigrantvisas.state.gov and following the instructions).
