AOS Interview and Documents Question

We have assembled all of our paperwork for our interview, but there is one thing that we can't seem to figure out.

My wife works for a car company and part of her benefits include an employee lease car. The car is under her name ( as she is the employee) and the insurance is provided through the company itself, so she isn't listed on the insurance card, it states Dialmer Trust. SHould we bring a copy of it and the lease contract ( I am not on it because of the reason above) I don't have a car under my name, my parents gave me a one of their cars so I am just listed under their insurance and stuff. What should we do? Since none of the car stuff is in our names, can we just forgo bringing that stuff?

Also, my wife and I live in an apartment owned by my parents (my parents own a multifamily home) and they take care of all of the utilities. They wrote an affidavit for us and stated such. Does anyone see any problems with this?

I wouldn't bother bringing anything related to the cars, since you can't use it to prove your marriage is bona fide, which would be the point of bringing that kind of stuff. My husband owns a car, but I'm not on any of the paperwork or the insurance (I don't drive, by choice). We didn't bring anything about his car to the interview, since it'd be pointless to show to the IO.

Yes, I'd bring the affidavit from your parents for sure. Did you submit that or any other proof of joint residence with your application?

We live on the top floor of my father in law's house and the utilities are included. We didn't have a signed affidavit from my FIL either because he went to China and ended up staying months longer than expected. Still, our IO was satisfied since we had phone bills, cable bills, our tax returns and bank statements going to that address. One thing that may help is if your driver's licences also have your address on them. Our IO asked my husband for his ID which he lost in a cab 2 months ago and hasn't replaced yet. When my husband explained the IO said "How do I know that this is really your address then?" Funny since this is his dad's house and he's lived here for 5 years now.
