Hi Everyone,

I am new in here as a member, but i have been around reading most helpful topics, but i still have some urgent questions i really wanna get answers to. Pls help!!!

I'm an F-1 student in the US, And i met my wife 7months ago, and we got Married last month (january 7th).

Based on the topics i read on this site, i understand now that we married, my status will change, so i wanna adjust my status, but my wife doesn't meet the poverty line. I also understand that in that case we have to get a co-sponsor.

My wife applied for a PELL GRANT and got approved. And now she wanna start a CNA Class.

But the Question is, is this GRANT is gonna affect us in any way? Please beautiful VJ members, i need your advice urgently as i dont wanna get if my wife's way unless i really have to.

Thanks in advace for your help.

Yes i understand that too, Am sorry Maybe my question didnt come out right. What i meant was, Is, my wife applying for a Pell Grant for her studies gonna Disqualify her from being able to file for me, if we ready to file for adjustment of my status from F1 to Permanent Residence?

I am asking this because i had, if A Fiance depends on the government, he/she cannot petition anyone, even if he/she have a co-sponsor.

I'm really confused with this. Pls help!!!
