Hey widsy,

After you become a resident it is best to change your licence. I used the Irish one for a bit while I was there. No problems with it, but I will change it as soon as I am back. My brother got stopped by the Police and was told to change it ASAP. I would think the Police would expect us all to do the same. My wife moved from Hilton Head Island SC to Celebration FL since I left and changed her Car plates and licence from South Carolina to Florida ones.

Hey everybody..:)) we just moved to Kissimmee, FL near Orlando...its like 10 miles drive and we are here, like 15 min from Disney too..:)) would me nice to talk with somebody from the same area..i saw few girls living close by in Orlando. I like area a lot, its a lot to do..:)) So would be nice to share own experience living in sates and adjusting to new life, maybe even make some plans to meet together..:)))

Hoping people still remeber this topic here..:))

I moved to Southwest Orlando about 9 months ago. I like it so far. I can't say I know the city very well yet though. I mostly drive to the same places all the time, Publix (groceries), work (downtown), The Y (gym), Downtown Disney (Movie theaters) and PapaJohns (for pizza :-)
