Hi everyone my name is Jayson, me and my fiancee are filling out the g-325a sheet. We need help for the employment history part. My question is

- if i don't have enough employment history to fill all the lines, do i just leave the last lines empty or write i was in high school at the time and had never been employed before my first 2 jobs?

- My fiance lives in a country were jobs are much harder to find then in the states(i know i have been there it's depressing to see),but well she's only had one legal job she can put down on the g-325a form. She will have lots of empty line below that, is it ok if she just lists that one job? or should she write what she did before that like go to school and years she attended? and if so does she or i for that matter have to list every school years with the grade (example......1999-2002 middle school 1st- 6th grade...2003-2006 high school 9th-12th grade?)

- i have a good idea of around what dates i was employed in my last 2 jobs but i don't know the exact dates. Is it ok if i write down my best guess or should i try calling previous jobs and asking for the exact dates.

- My last question is well i have had 2 jobs in the past when i was about 14-16 years of age in school(im 24 now) but i never wrote down any information about those jobs anywhere for myself or remember the company's names, they were temporary jobs. One was for 1 month i think and another was for like 1 week ive asked family members and many people, but no one remembers.(will this cause as great a concern as i feel it will)

I currently have a job and am working at fedex, aside from my 2 last job (that i remember heh) sorry if anything i wrote sounds confusing. I thank you all for any help, i've been loosing sleep thinking about this and it really does mean a lot to me, if someone can help me with this, information.

You only enter the last 5 years. If you had only one job for the last 5 years for example then write...

January 2010-January 2012 Fedex, Chicago, IL Driver (or whatever it is)

January 2007-January 2012 Unemployed

Leave the rest blank. If your other two jobs were before 2007, you do not need to list them. If you do, there is no penalty.

The form does not ask for education information

Wow thanks that cleared up a lot for me. What if my fiancee can't remember if the job she had 2 years ago was a paid under the table job or legal job, it was in a resturant in norway(she lives in lithuania) should she still list that job, even if she couldn't find the address would it be ok to list it?and if the name of the place is in norweigan?

And She just reminded me a little while ago she lived in norway for about 3 months, 2 years ago to work in that resturant, but we dont know if we should list that she lived there temporarily to work at a job that she doesnt remember if she was paid under the table. She just knows it was like a practice training evaluation she went for but the customers just paid her tips and her boss told her she was like any other waiter there(but she doesnt know what he meant by it) they told her to go home at the end of 3 months because the place started to become empty, so there wasnt a need for her to be there anymore her boss said.

What can you recomend we do with this problem??

Thank you so much really i mean it, because i could be wasting thousands of dollars paying a money hungry lawyer to answer these questions but you and every one on here who helps are doing a really big favor for people like me who get lost in this process, and it means a lot.

Business name, City, COUNTRY are all that is needed for employer address. Just provide the facts as best you know them.

Provide at least five years of history but give as accurate a date as possible. If you had the same job for 30 years, you would still put the correct start date and effectively show 30 years of history instead of five. Don't put a fictitious date, just because it happens to be five years ago. Be accurate.

No... You tell the truth. You list exactly what she did or does.

The only way you need to prove the money is with your IRS 1040. It is illegal to do your taxes without letting the IRS know how much you made under the table. I have been doing taxes for over 8 years and I always see that question.

(It is illegal, but I am sure lots do not put it as income, because how would the IRS know how much you made in tips)

its a fine line there.

The only thing you have to prove is if you make 125% above the poverty line. There are a lot of people who are unemployed. They put unemployed.

If I hedge bushes for a good portion of my life then I would put landscaping.

Since it is the foreigner who worked under the table, the income is not an issue. The G325a is biographical. No worries, because no employment or income verification is done on the foreigner.

No The US is not going to pursue her for taxes owed to a foreign country. They could not possibly care less.

Enter the information as has been described.

Before she sends it to you. You should really look over it yourself.

It is expensive to keep sending documents back and forth if you have to keep changing since it hasn't been double checked.

I would have her fill out a G325A and then have her print it, and then scan it and send it to you, that way you can see if any corrections can be made.

If she uses the program Adobe Acrobat Pro 10, she can fill them out, and save them to a file and send it to you that way. So you can double check it.

Those G-325A needs to be near perfect , remember this is going to the government. Mistakes can be costly.

The smart money is usually to fill it out for her with information you get from her, then email it to her for review before finalizing it. Email the final version for printing and mailing along with the passport photo and letter of intent. Tried and true. Works every time it's tried.
