#1) I have the template from the website for the affidavit, but what should be written about our marriage that would deem it a bonafide marriage????

Also.... We rarely talked by phone, mostly via windows messenger live video chat(with video and voice and it is free!!!!)

So, no phone bills from calls to Mexico.......She might have a few bills from when she has called here but it would be like 1 or 2 times per month.

She visited a lot by plane and i flew to her country by plane as well, but when i entered mexico they didn't stamp my passport or anything when driving across the border (which i thought to be odd). haha......So it's kinda hard to prove i was in mexico besides the ####### load of pictures that i have taken.

#2) Any who, what did you guys use and what all should i do to prove our marriage???

My family is willing to do an affidavit, but are stumped as to what to write.

#3) when i submit photos of our relationship how should i present them? Write on the back of them? or paste it on a sheet of paper and write a description? etc etc

Thanks for your help guys!!!!

Do you have copies of the flight tickets? and a few pictures are okay but they won't be as important until the interview for the visa. I used my flight tickets and visa stamps. So your passport was never stamped? and then you have to send copies of your chats and if they are in spanish you must get them translated and certified. If you are fluent in both languages you can do them yourself but must sign of.

About the affidavit they must state their full name, address, relationship to you and what they know about your relationship.

i am stuck in the same boat as you! my wife lives like 5 hours away from me so i just drive down there to visit her 2 times a month or so.

my family has always gone to Mexico driving and never have we had our passports stamped. i think it might be because we go about 1 hour into Mexico

from the border so we might not need a stamp. i do know that if you try to go deeper into Mexico you need a permit if driving, they might stamp ur passport then, who knows lol

and as for proof all i have are pictures and pictures of wedding, cellphone bills showing that we text each other, receipt from the engagement ring, and a hotel receipt. still trying to find more proof so that when my interview comes we have a lot to show

If this is for the I130 simply attach all of the documents that are requested and send it in. Phone bills and chat logs and affidavits are not needed LOL for married couples (until time to lift conditions) and sending all that unnecessary ####### in clogs up the system.

Don't forget to get your marriage certificate translated.

Neither of my I130's (including the one submitted right after we were married) had pictures or anything in addition to the standard requested documents (ID info on you, ID info on her, divorce decrees, marriage cert, G325's, etc etc)

NOW for the interview - while you are waiting on the I130 approval start building some proof of co-mingling which you have to do anyway. Add your wife to your health insurance, start doing some banking together, get a Vonage phone over there (every single call is logged online and at least the call records are handy AND the number can stay there where she and her family can call back and forth "for free" after she gets to the US and man that is a great deal+helps with the possible homesickness)

Best of luck

i don't get it.

Chat transcripts do not need to be translated.
