Hi everybody

I'm sending my AOS package today!!! I'm so excited to get the process going, we got married on December last year but I finished All the things we need it to send all the package until today, Taxes returns, medical exams, marriage original certificate etc, Does somebody knows how long it takes the entire process of an AOS?

THANK YOU!

Seems to vary quite a bit, but 3-4 months usually (that's to get the GC)...but 2-3 months for the EAD and AP.

Look at our timeline for an idea.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

You can look at my timeline in my signature. My EAD took about 54 days i think but i'm still waiting for it in the mail. I have an interview time too for my Green card interview, it's just under three months from when we applied. There are peopl who applied before me though who have been waiting longer so, yeah, it varies quite a bit sometimes.

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

Typically 3-6 months. Ours was 2 months. We actually got the greren cards before the EAD and AP. Go figure.

Three and a half months for us (including an RFE for vaccinations: she'd had them in Seoul, but for whatever reason USCIS decided we needed them transcribed onto their form). Advance parole (the old paper version) showed up about a month before the GC. EAD was supposedly mailed around the same time as AP but never showed up. We put in a service request but got the GC shortly thereafter. Case was transferred to CSC and GC was approved without interview.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
