thanks tr j...i tried calling them thru that number and it just kept on ringing for more than 1 minute but no one is picking up...can i actually call that number? im using a mobile phone and just the waiting time consumes my load...have not heard anything from them since our interview and im worried if the documents they were asking from me got lost. i was able to call their other number and was able to talk to one of their staff...but says she cant actually access my file to find out if said document is already there...i tried to email IVManilaReplies@state.gov but i got an automated reply saying they cant reply immediately as they are receiving more than 100 emails daily...and says i may get a response in 7 working days with regards with my inquiry...This waiting time is just killing me...but what can i do??? I just hope and pray that everything is gonna be ok. Thanks!!! and congratulations! Have a nice journey ahead! Can i add you on my friends list?

I called this number last week from the U.S. I got someone on the first time. I spoke to her about my case to verify the documents were there and she checked and I was done.

You need to call first thing in the morning and you can also try last thing in the evening. Any other time, it is probably much harder to reach them.

Here are the numbers I called.

------------------------------

For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) inquiry line at (632) 301-2000,

extension 5184 or 5185 during normal business hours. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is

open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time),

Bumping this up, as someone may try help update me..

I am currently in the US, and we filed for IR2 for my son. My friend accompanied him to USEM last April 18, and they submitted the original NBI at 2GO on the same day. (They actually brought it during the interview, but as luck would have it, they thought they left it...and they were given a form ( which I guess is the 221g) They found the NBI Clearance on their file when they were actually out of the Consulate already..Hay...) Anyway, someone might help update on how to follow up the faster way..or is the info here on this thread still up to date?

Thanks for any reply. Will truly appreciate it.

ezzie
