Hi everyone, I need an immediate response on my situation. We got email from NVC regarding our I-864EZ that my husband submitted. It says;

Checklist for I-864EZ (filed by xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx

NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However,additional information is required

to complete the financial evidence review.The checklist below indicates missing or incomplete

documents. In order to make corrections you will need to download a new form at www. ImmigrantVisa.state.gov.

You will need to complete and submit the new form with the changes noted below. Please provide all requested

documents and refer to page two for mailing instructions.

Part 5 Sponsor's Income and Employment

[x] The sponsor's signature must be original.

We have mistake in signature but what confuses me and my husband is about Part 5 Sponsor's Income and Employment.

We checked the form I-864EZ part 5 that hubby submitted and he did not leave it blank. Wonder what's wrong.

Any help please before we mail the form.

Maybe the one who reviewed your documents thought that the signature of your husband in the form was somewhat scanned. Just let your husband sign the documents with a little force so there will be traces even at the back of the paper that the signature is really authentic.

I'm confused what is missing on your form. What line in Part 5 did you actually leave blank?

It sounds like it is not the line that they claim you left blank?

Please clarify.

I think they thought it was a scanned document. That is why some people sign with blue ink so it is easy to tell it was an original signature..

exactly, use blue ink. that is what our visa service told us to do.

I think line 17 of part 5, Name of Employer (if applicable), hubby did not write the name of his employer.

Then send a new I-864 properly completed, with an original blue signature. Be sure to provide evidence of current income, like a current pay stub or employer letter.
