Hello everyone. I guess this may surprise all of you on this information I'm about to share to you all. I went on vacation back in Dec 24, 2011 and came back to Guam in January 6, 2012. My fiance(e) and I already had a 2 year old son who is now a US Citizen because I filed for my son's US Citizenship Birth Abroad and now our son has a possession of Blue Passport. Here's the information I found out this afternoon. It was my Fiance's first day of Medical Appointment in Saint Luke's Hospital and she has undergone the blood work and x-Ray. Then she was tested for Pregnancy and came positive and both of us doesn't even know she was pregnant? wow, what a day... Now my concern is?? Would this affect her processing for her K-1 Petition??? Hope that her being pregnant wont interfere with other processing near future..

No, it will not have any impact.

When I filed a petition for my first fiance, she was pregnant when I filed and we both knew. We petitioned and received her visa and she was able to be in the US for the birth of our son. It didn't have any negative interference, and in fact it might have been sped up by the fact that she was pregnant (I asked my senator to give it a nudge because of the pregnancy, and the whole process took 5 1/2 months).

This was 6 years ago, things might have changed. But it didn't have negative consequences at the time.

Thank you guys. So in that case I need to prepare myself before she Fly here to Guam. I do have a health insurance so she's pretty much covered and hopefully things will go smoothly when she arrives here..

How about taking vaccines? I think it will impact that.

My reply was solely based on his statement:

"Now my concern is?? Would this affect her processing for her K-1 Petition??? Hope that her being pregnant wont interfere with other processing near future.."

I just assumed since the pregnancy was discovered during the medical, the docs took appropriate action with regards to vaccines.

Unlike IR-1/CR-1 immigrant visas for spouses, the K-1 visa does not have any vaccination requirements. Many people get vaccinations done at the visa medical because they're cheaper abroad than in the US and they will be required for AOS. But they are not required for the visa.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
