Hi v'jers! I have been on this site for awhile just browsing but finally decided to join to voice my opinion. I hope that I did the right thing. I am a leftover July filer. How many more of us are out there? What are the NOA1's? Mine is July 25, 2011.

USCIS: (224 days)

07/22/11 - Mailed I-130 petitions for wife and step-daughter

07/28/11 - NOA1 for both

02/21/12 - RFE for both (received hardcopy on 2/25)

02/28/12 - Responded to RFE for both(received by CSC on 2/29)

03/02/12 - NOA2 for both(received hardcopy on 3/8)

NVC: (37 days)

03/12/12 - NVC Received both

03/21/12 - NVC case number and IIN received for both & Emailed Choice of Agent for both

03/23/12 - AOS bill invoiced & paid for both

03/26/12 - AOS bill shows paid & AOS Packets mailed for both

03/27/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for wife (sent another for step-daughter via email and express mail)

03/28/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for step-daughter & IV bill invoiced & paid for wife

03/29/12 - IV bill shows paid for wife & IV bill invoiced & paid for step-daughter

03/30/12 - IV bill shows paid for step-daughter & IV Packets mailed for both

04/04/12 - IV Packets reviewed. Checklist issued for Divorce Decree for my wife. Step-daughter's was accepted and her case closed

04/10/12 - Divorce Decree accepted after supervisor review & wife's case closed

04/16/12 - Expedite requested for both cases due to NVC error

04/18/12 - Expedite request approved for both cases and sent to Santiago Embassy

Embassy: (15 days)

04/24/12 - Embassy received both cases from NVC

04/25/12 - Wife went to Embassy for document review. Interview date assigned for both cases.

04/26/12 - Medical Exam for both. Result - approved.

05/07/12 - Interview date for both. Result - approved!

05/09/12 - Received both Visas

05/16/12 - POE Atlanta

8/22/2011: NOA1 EMAIL(never received a hardcopy nor txt)

3/23/2012: NOA2 EMAIL!!!! :D

3/28/2012: NOA2 HARDCOPY

NVC STAGE

4/09/2012: NVC Recieved

4/24/2012: Got NVC Case# and Invoice ID#

4/25/2012: Sent DS-3032 email and Paid AOS fee

4/26/2012: AOS fee showed "paid"

5/2/2012: Sent AOS Package and NVC accepted DS-3032 email

5/4/2012: Received and Paid IV fee

5/7/2012: Sent IV Package

5/14/2012: Case Complete at NVC!

6/6/2012: NVC Left!!

Beirut Lebanon Consulate

7/11/2012: Interview!!

Result: My husband is put in Administrative processing :(

8/17/2012: Embassy called my husband to bring the pasport for the visa!! :D

Okay so they are thinking it will be this week or next? That sounds good. I really pray that I get mine soon. I am ready to get to the next level. I am tired of all this waiting.

Mine is 8-9-2011.......waitting is tuff. I hope soon to the next step. I'm working on the DS-230 & DS-864EZ so my wife will retain some hope & not get too worried. I think it's a good idea to keep her busy and looking forward to the next thing. Mine is at the CSC .......looking forward to good news.

I have a July 26 priority date. Few days ago I noticed a case number with 2 digits lower than mine was not approved. I just checked that receipt number again right now and it was approved yesterday. There is one more receipt number before mine. I have positive vibes flowing through me.

Never thought to try that... a receipt number three less than mine (2581, mine is 2584) got approved February 1. #2589 got approved January 27, #2590 on January 31. :wacko:

The timelines on this site in general seem weirdly optimistic! Have you noticed that the I-130 timeline statistics data says the CSC is currently processing I-130 visas from October? It's weird for it to be that far off-target. :unsure:

07-13-2011 -- I-130 sent
07-15-2011 -- I-130 NOA1 received in the mail
02-21-2012 -- I-130 NOA2 approved

NVC (26 days)
02-24-2012 -- NVC receives application
03-21-2012 -- Case completed at NVC

Consulate (50 days)
04-05-2012 -- Interview date assigned
05-01-2012 -- Medical
05-21-2012 -- Interview - Approved

Your right but it looks like they are really working fast these past couple of days :)

so I wouldnt look at how they have been processing from weeks ago anymore because at that time they were working veryyy slow but now they are definitly speeding through them

Im August 22 so Im hoping ill get mine next month but I hope sooner! It has been 5 months and 2 weeks for me :(

Yes, I check all the way from 40 cases through the range of my own. I see that out of 40 about 20 had been either: approved, denied or sent and RFE. Therefore, you can say out of 40 about half of them have obtained a response. But, in a smaller range out of 10 there are 4 approved and 6 leftover. I do not know what to think because the case # directly in front me is not approved but then the case # directly behind me is approved. So, I just wonder if I may hear something this week?

The timeline statistics are an average based on VJ member timelines. This includes petitions that were expedited for whatever reason. There are petitions that have been approved in less than a month while others are waiting 6.5 months or more.

06/10/11 - Married

USCIS: (224 days)
