You can track your Visa Status by Amex Website if they have already got your passport u can check the status here is the link below

All you need to do is to give your passport# so i would like to congratulate you on this good news

This website only works sometimes. My hubby's passport number was never retrievable by this method.

His visa was issued 16th september and was in hand on the 21st, so i guess 5 days...

It depends case to case I guess , mine was issued at Jan 31 and was in hand by feb 2

Hey hope15 i had some missing documents which i had to send to embassy like joint sponsor papers and bank statement and 2011 tax papers by my fiancee they even asked for my fiancee's tax papers for 2009 2010 and 2011 since my fiancee is unemployed so i had to submit all papers except 2011 i did submit all papers which embassy received on 12 January and then i submitted 2011 tax papers about 10 days back so my all papers are under review and so the DOS ppl said i'm under review and my papers are being review after review they will make a decision i'm not sure about it that is what they said

I called DOS yestrday to find out about wife's Visa status she told me the Visa has been issued the Embassy will mail her the passport. Just want know how long does it take to mail her? She told me 2 to 3 days or week is that right? Thanks

Hello Assalam-o-Alaikum yes i know that and that is a very good news i'm not sure but i guess 3-5 days Max a week not more than days and can u tell me what documents u had to send to embassy when u got 221G AP slip cos i also sent mine and embassy received on Jan 12 still no updates just my case is under review but im sure they have finished reviewing my papers thank you

Hi, Mohsin786 I had send my corrected 2010 tax return for my affidavit support thats all then they recieved it on Jan 10, 2012 then it took exactly 30 days to clear my AP. Dont worry yours will b clear in couple of days. By the way documents you have to send? Thanks
