the Lockbox is a place where contractors open the mail, check the basics are included, deposit the money, prepare the folder, and generate your receipt. It is not the same as Texas Service Center. Your prepared folder will be forwarded to a service center.

ok thank you thats somewhat of a relief... but ive checked the processing times and Texas is currently averaging like 18 months!!! whereas Cali is quoting 5 months.. how is it chosen which service centre the pack is sent to ? and is there any way i can make sure Texas is avoided and Cali is elected ? Thank you so much.

Thank you guys!! sorry for the confusion on this, as i was stressing and writing about all this my fiance literally had received the email notification that it had been received and forwarded to Vermont! if only she would have woken up 20 minutes earlier all my stress and worry for the past 30 mins would have been avoided!

once again sorry and thank you for your assistance.

Hope she gets the hard copy soon, it quoted 7-10 days... worries me that if Denitsa&Mike sent the pack on jan 27th they have already received hard copy.. i sent 4 days previous and only just now received the first email !? why cant anything be consistent lol

I agree. Texas Service Center doesn't process I-129F petitions. The stats about TSC on VJ that you may see for I-129F are wrong, it just comes from people misleading the Dallas lockbox and the TSC. For the stats from USCIS, it's also outdated… TSC used to process this type of petitions but it doesn't anymore.

You will know at which SC your petition is being processed when you will receive your first notice of action (that will be at the bottom left of it). :)

I'm not racing ;) I'm actually taking it easy... ;) you too relax, breath and prepare for waiting... people here get approved at different times and it might happen that you are approved before us which I absolutely don't mind as long as I'm approved eventually some time this year :) There is so many people freaking out here but the truth is, if you love, you'll wait :)

Good luck with your journey :)
