i-485 section 3, Processing information, Date Visa Issued

Canadian wife here with me in the US adjusting her status.

On the i-485 Page 2 Part 3: "Processing Information" it asks for date visa issued under "nonimmigrant visa number". She doesnt have that number as a Canadian visitor, right. But her passport was stamped when she entered. Does she put that date here or leave it blank, because it's below the part that says asks for "nonimmigrant visa number"?

And I check "no" where it asks if she's ever applied for resident status before this application, right?

Go to the page in her passport for US Visa. The nonimmigrant visa number will be in RED and the issue date will be there also.

A# (in passport)

Make sure you use her married name on the applications (I485, I765 and I131) not her maiden name.

Pay attention to where you should be mailing the package to.

Get 3 sets of photos 2x2 (total 6)

right...If this is her first time applying for resident status.

I'm pretty sure she doesn't have this! But you're Canadian also, I see. She just has stamps with dates, unless I'm missing something. Are you sure it's in there?

She doesn't have a visa. She entered without a visa on the Canadian visitor program. That whole section is N/A. if you want to be successful in this process, you have to understand what you have, and when questions don't apply to you. You are the one who has to know if she ever applied for a resident status before.

Diamond member is correct because I was under the impression you are adjusting from K1 Visa (like myself).
