Yes, it's me again with yet another question!

I was hoping someone could help me with a (hopefully) quick and easy question concerning the Cambodian Marriage Application.

In the list of "Attached Documents", #1 is listed as: Diplomatic Note of the Embassy or Consulate

Could someone tell me precisely what this document is? I would greatly appreciate it.

Also the Medical Certificate of Cambodian authority concerned.

How/where would I obtain this?

Thank you.

(Below is an image of the documents listed.)

Sorry no one has replied to you..I have not been here for a few weeks either.

The Diplomatic Note is a note you will receive upon going to the U.S. Embassy in P.P.

They will ask you to verify your papers, that you are single, and eligible to marry. They will give you what they call a Cover Sheet (Diplomatic Note)

And we went to the S.O.S. for Blood Tests, and Medical Certificate saying you are healthy...as it says on the Cetifcate.

Here are the two that were listed for us to be able to go to.

This is why when we are done with ours, we will post a full webpage on the Cambodian Side of the Process to make it clear.

I wish I had made copies of the papers as we went along to place on our website for people to actually see the papers, and the process.

If you do this, and would like..please delete the important parts with personal data and send to me, so I can post for others to see, if you wish.

Its all about helping others here on VJ, and I hope to do just that, Cambodia is a different world, and I want to make it easier then it was for me.

Hope this helps..best wishes.

RE: Posting papers on VJ

I plan to make copies of every document I come across just as I've done so with everything up to this point.

I would love to share it all and hopefully help out anyone else with questions dealing with the process and documents involved.

Will certainly keep in touch. As I said, if you are willing to share, I will be glad to create a page dedicated solely to helping others thru this in Cambodia.

And In Cambodia, it is common to pay people to take care of business, and all too often in shady ways. I will not allow myself to be part of that, and I want to have people shown how to

do this in a manner that makes sense. If they are part of the doing, they will better understand it, and thats my hope to help people to do so.

So i appreciate your kindness, and anything you wish to contribute, please feel free to email me. rls1dan@hotmail.com
