Hi everyone! We went to interview on 1/27 in OC, CA. We actually went there the night before to find parking lot and to make sure we won't get lost and waste time going round since both have to come back to work after. When we got there (15 min before our appt) there were about 6-7 other couples all with their lawyers. The wait was long ~ 1hr and so boring we had nothing to entertain ourselves. Right when my husband decided to go out to put more coins in the meter our interviewer came out calling us lol. Our interviewer started with the oath, telling me that my fingerprints were unreadable twice and asking for any evidence of relationship. Out of nowhere he made a comment about how young we are to get married. I was a bit taken aback and though "what??? so judgmental!!" lol but I shrugged it off and laughed. We were just being ourselves and told him about how we met till we got married. He said he didn't read our file yet (o_O...) so we were asked about how we spent our recent holidays, how I got here, etc. I'm very absent minded but my husband memory is supreme so he aced these questions easily and even chatted with the guy about cooking. All in all, 30 mins was spent mostly on checking to see if we were a real couple. He also asked for my transcript but I said it's very expensive and takes long to do it so he did a search on computer with my I-20 to verify if I came here legally. (I knew that he should be able to do it with I-20). Overall, he was pretty nice although he didn't seem to like my sense of humor ;). At the end he told us to send in my police clearance so he can approve us. I went to local police station and got mine after ~20 min. On 2/6 we saw update status text message and card production online. Yay!

The tips and guide and visajourney helped me tremendously in filing/organizing my paperworks. I worked at a law firm before and trust me even their best lawyer wasn't that organized and they frequently make mistakes on clients' cases. Thanks you all and hope this helps!
