I-129 F at Manila Embassy ?

I have read of many, don't know about hundreds but its possible, who have went to BPI paid their fee and then the next day went online and scheduled their interview all within days of getting the MNL #. So waiting for a package to arrive is not necessary to schedule the interview. I also learned from one of those people, who within the last week did just that, that the I-129F package is electronically sent to the embassy with the physical package following later (the good folks at NVC told him this).

I know that when I have the MNL # I will have my Fiancee head to BPI to pay the fee, then get the interview scheduled the next day, which should be happening within the next week or so just waiting for NVC at the moment.

It seems there is sort of a pi$ing contest going on between you two, but on this one I have to agree there is no need to wait on the I-129F package.

I know it's pretty much standard practice. The day after the NVC precessed our packet and got we got our MNL number we had our appointment scheduled. I don't know why Tahoma insists on giving bad info to people. I am in several Pinay/American groups on FB and it is was done by a majority of the members.

Also it's really not a pissing contest, it's just that I know what a stressful time it is waiting and wondering about your K-1. Any advice or reassurance and accurate info we can give those still going thru it is important. I just hate to see people guess at info or put out bad info out. Nothing personal against the guy, it's just that I just went thru it and I know the two issues I am arguing with him about for a fact.

The suggestion that someone carry both a transcript and return is a perfect example. Will it derail your interview to do both. Of course not. It will also not derail your interview to print four volumes of war and peace and carry it to the embassy either, it's jsut that both are a waste of time and money.
