If ia a m currently employed in Italy and I will stop working once my alien spouse hopefully gets approved, what do i put on the I-864 where it ask formy current employer. Someone said that i can only claim the money i make in italy if it will countinue to be given to me once iam in the states. does that mean i have to say that iam unemployed and i don not have income? or do i put my italian employer and income?

It doesnt make sense if i put unemployed becasue iam not and iam making money. so any advice?

im doing DCF and we will be turning the I-864 at the interview i also have my mom as a joint sponsonsor just incase. i just want to know what i should write!

Tell the truth. It's really that simple. To tell YOU the truth, you'll need that joint sponsor, as YOU don't qualify to sponsor your spouse.

You do not need a joint sponsor if you can show minimum 3X the 125% poverty level for your family size in cash or cash-equivalent assets.

I listed my employer and income on the I864 exactly as spelled out. At the interview they asked and I made it clear that I would initially not be employed in the US on return.

i don't get it.
