I recieved an rfe on my I-864 and the check list states very clearly what I need to fix but im not sure If I just fix those questions or do I mail in a completely new 1864? Also since the uscis has a new I 864 do I have to use that one?? If any one has any advice or experiances I would love some help.

Thanks! Becki

What is it you need to fix?, i.e extra documentation ?, also did they return your original I-864 ?

You just fix those questions and mail them back. They will just review them. You should not make a new I-864, as NVC will start reviewing the whole I-864 again. Did you leave any space blank on the I-864.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I had an error on the DS-230, and they marked it with red pen. They told me just to correct that form and send it in so I assume the same for the I-864.

If unsure you could call and ask.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
