Could you please let us know what RFE exactly asked for? Were you missing some W2s or 1099s?

USCIS wanted my sponsor's 1044 (I thought it was optional because I filed using W2) and W2 from my joint sponsor (I filed only with his 1044). Haha lesson learned just give them everything

Just as an update, I am a late Feb/early March filer... Just received my hardcopy NOAs and biometrics letter yesterday-- appointment scheduled for March 27th at the Denver/Aurora destination.

Be on the lookout for a RFE, I know nobody wants it but it usually means your case is making progress.

Thanks for the info. I sent everything pertaining to my income: W2 and all the 1099s I received from my bank for the interest earned on savings. I really hope they don't find anything else.

Actually, I fully expect an RFE-- my Father-In-Law, our joint-sponsor just informed us that he may not have filled in the I-864 correctly-- he his self employed and makes more than enough and sent the past three years (2010, 2009, 2008) tax returns forms but since he is self-employed there are no W2's-- his daughter (my wife) was also a dependent during years 2009 & 2008-- she sent in her own 2010 Tax return with her I-864, but she didn't work and has no W2-- she also sent a letter stating she was a dependent on her dad's previous tax returns and this can be seen on her Dad's (joint sponsor's) tax returns.

I guess our I-845 is a little bit of a "mess" and so I expect and RFE--- hopefully they will send one, rather than just deny the whole application

Which is why it is advisable to send transcripts cos they are fewer pages of your tax returns and you don't have send to W2s, 1040s etc wit IRS transcripts.

And to get it just walk into your local IRS tax office and have it printed out or call & stand by a fax machine and they'll fax it to you. or order by mail.

No, they gave no reason why my biometrics was delayed. I called earlier in Jan to let them know that I had not received it yet and they said I had to wait 30days from the time I received my receipt letters. And so after 30 days when I had still received nothing, they filed a SR for me. and yes, i spoke to a 2nd tier officer who placed the SR for me.

Apparently, my biometrics was on its way when I had filed the SR. I had an early walk-in and got my biometrics done; and then about 2 days later, another one came which was due to the SR I placed. My lawyer said I should go just in case. So, I had another walk-in and I asked them if i needed to do it again. They checked their system and they had no record that I had done it!!!!!!!!!!! Glad I went. Cos it would have been a big mess! So what I think happened was that the SR biometrics cancelled the other out; because when I received my EAD card, it was the SR's picture on there not the first one. and yes, each appointment was for both I-485 and I-765

Oh NikkiB had her interview in Atlanta. I have talked to someone who had their interview in Raleigh and they gave me good hints. Thanks!

Actually, its 30 days from when you receive the physical letter. I received mine on the 15th of December; so 30days after was the 14h Of January. I just delayed to see if anything would come but nothing did; so I then called them. Yes NikkiB lived in Raleigh, hence the 919 number. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

What exactly does the NOA-1 say? I only got one letter and it had the biometrics appt. on it too. It does say I-797C, Notice of Action on the top of it.

My guess is that you are talking about the receipt letters? Its just the receipt letters that come by mail. By looking at your timeline, I see that you haven't gotten the hard copies of your receipt letters. That normally comes before you receive your biometrics appointment notice. But my guess is that it should come pretty soon. No worries.

Ok....makes sense. the biometrics letter came from NBC in MO which is pretty much next door and usually takes a day to get stuff in the mail from there.

Its a great day for me today!!! when i came home today, i saw a letter from uscis and i was praying that its not an RFE...

when i open it, it was surprising to see that it is my INTERVIEW LETTER!!!! without any sign or email update prior.

the interview date is for April 17th at 8:40am at my local phoenix office.

but still no update on I-130 or I-765 yet tho..

Its a great day for me today!!! when i came home today, i saw a letter from uscis and i was praying that its not an RFE...

when i open it, it was surprising to see that it is my INTERVIEW LETTER!!!! without any sign or email update prior.

the interview date is for April 17th at 8:40am at my local phoenix office.

but still no update on I-130 or I-765 yet tho..
