Does anyone know if walk-ins are allowed at the ASC in Sugar Land, Texas? I've read they do and I've read they don't and does that even help?

Also were sending in our I-765 & I-131 (didn't realize I could've sent this with my original filing ), anyways, will that affect anything if I do a walk-in? I read that some folks filed forms after their original filing that required biometrics too and had TWO fingerprint appointments, some AFTER their interview and it caused delays??

It doesnt hurt to try a Walk in for your biometric, There's still no prove it speeds up the process though.

Yeah you'll likely have to do another biometric for the I-765 you are about to send in.

I checked my bank account today and both checks have been cashed. I assume there were no mistakes on my forms and they all have been signed. Let's just hope there is no RFE.

We are in Houston also, but we are being sent to a center off of 290 for biometrics.

Hi guys! Just a quick update---hubby did an early walk in for biometrics appointment @ the SW Houston location today! In and out in 10 minutes he said! Everyone was super friendly....This is moving along nicely, now the real waiting game begins I guess...

Quick update

Still no Biometric letter for me, **sobs** :-) and I'm not sure I'll be getting it any sooner

Called USCIS and was told that may be due to my local ASC is so busy & dont have available appointment slots. Dont believe that anyway

IS there any body who did Bio at ASC st paul MN recently? when did you file?

Also I dont have any undeliverable mail with USCIS

Worse still, I have to wait for 30 days before I can make service request for my biometric. Hopefully this doesnt slow things up.

Glad to see progress with other February AOSers.

@wiiwin, Take the RFE as a sign that someone is working on your file and it's not just lying on some desk. Do let us know how that goes though.

Received an RFE too! for I-485...le sigh but from what I see I should take it as kind of a good thing?..? Anywhoo, they said it was mailed out March 9th, so I should be getting it any day now, I really pray its not anything bad.

My Biometrics appoint is on March 21st in Atlanta, I am curious if I will get to see any VJ users!

I am still worried about my EAD, anybody has any ideas when I might get mine?

Just as an update, I am a late Feb/early March filer... Just received my hardcopy NOAs and biometrics letter yesterday-- appointment scheduled for March 27th at the Denver/Aurora destination.
