hello again!

i called uscis on sept. 25. i was told to wait for 15 days and if i don't hear/get anything from cali office by then, call them (USCIS) again. i never heard/got anything and also didn't call again. i thought calling them won't do any good. they will still decide when they're in the mood to do something and bugging them is a waste of time.

i got the approval message yesterday (which was a month after my call). you should get your approval anytime soon. i pray that before oct ends you'll get yours too. just hang on in there. you'll be next.

if calling them will make you feel any better, pls do so.but i personally don't believe it would make any difference.

Best of luck!

CVM

  • 1 month later...

Hello everyone!

Has anyone else among the AOS February filers received the Green Card? I still haven't received mine from the California office and it's been 10 months since submission.

I look forward to your replies.

Best of luck,

A

Hello A! Sorry to know that up to now you are still waiting. I thought you were already off this boat.

I have no idea who else got their gc since i have not received notifications in approx 2 mos.

Have you tried calling uscis again after my last msg to you? Im not sure if it will help but there is no harm in calling/trying. Just keep trying...

Good luck and hopefully you'll get it b4 the holidays.;-)

Merry Christmas!

  • 3 weeks later...

Hello!

I called USCIS about two weeks ago about my green card. Today I got an email from them saying that my case is currently being adjudicated. Read below:

"The status of this service request is:

Thank you for your inquiry. Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 30 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke."

Has anyone dealt with this before?

Thanks,

A

Hi!

I just called USCIS and placed a service request. I should get a letter or email from them in 15 days. Hopefully this will bring some light on what's going on with my green card.

Best,

A

Dear all,

Last Friday I received a text message and email from USCIS about my green card. It has been approved and I should receive it in the mail in less than 30 days.

If you are in a similar situation as mine - waiting for your GC form more than 6 months - I suggest you call USCIS customer service and place a request for service. It worked for me - my GC was approved in three weeks after the call - it might work for you too.

Good luck!

A
