well as for me, I recieved an RFE un thursday and replied it on friday... the reason was because of an error my lawyer made filling the form I-140... no biggy

23/3 - biometrics scheduled -> did "early" walk-in on 21 March

06/4 - received email update, interview scheduled for 7th May

27/4 - received EAD

08/5 - email: approval one day after interview (7th May)

Still waiting on a date!

Called 2 weeks ago and got this email stating "The status of this service request is>>>

> A check of our records indicates that your case was received from the National Benefits Center (NBC) on April 3, 2012 and is currently pending review. The current review period is six months from the date we received your case from NBC. You should receive a notice of action* once review is completed."

Just checked and last touched 04/03/2012. HUMMMM....

AOS TIMELINE:

02/08/2012 AOS Application Sent.

02/14/2012 NOA Hard Copy Received for EAD and AOS in mail 2/14/2012.

03/01/2012 Biometrics letter received. Bio scheduled at 3pm on 03/29.

03/29/2012 Successful Biometrics. In & out only 20 mins.

04/03/2012 Received text and email of EAD card production.

04/05/2012 Received text and email of EAD card mailed.

04/06/2012 Received EAD Card.

why is yours taking sooo long?

actually is taking as established in processing times, remember I'm applying based on work (NIW), not as the rest of you guys that requested AOS family/wedding base.

According to the processing times the application I-140 would take 5 months, and exactly after 5 months of my priority date I received the RFE...

Let's revive this thread! I would really love to hear from other February filers.

I'm still waiting for my GC, here's my timeline:

CIS Office : Helena MT

Date Filed : 2012-02-11

NOA Date : 2012-02-15

RFE(s) : 2012-03-03

Bio. Appt. : 2012-03-07

AOS Transfer** :2012-03-16

I really just want my GC, I was initially happy my case was transferred to CSC (less chance of an interview) but now I'm wishing it wasn't! From what I can gather reading timelines, the only Feb filers to have been approved were not transferred to CSC? Am I wrong in thinking this?

Dear all,

I need some advice regarding my green card. The story goes like this:

1)I have submitted my AOS package on Feb 7th.

2) I received two letters saying that my I-485 and I-765 were received and accepted.

3) A third letter followed saying that my I-485 was transferred to the California Service Center in Laguna Niguel. The date on the letter is Feb 27.

4) On March 12 I did the biometrics walk in.

After the biometrics walk in I did not receive anything else and it has been about 150 days since my AOS submission.

What should I do? Should I continue to wait or should I take some sort of action?

Any advice is welcomed.

One more thing. I forgot to mention that I did get my work permit in the mail after the biometrics walk in. But after that, I did not receive anything else.

your case transferred to CSC? It's gonna be a long wait. people filed a few months ahead of you are still waiting.

Yes, CSC transfered K-1ers AOS used to be faster but not anymore these days, so, all you can do is wait...
